The story has to be NIK ALLRED, looking back at Ogden's season opening victory against Murray High School. The senior QB took the reins and never looked back, as he torched the Murray defense for the second most offensive yards in state history. With 469 through the air and 71 on the ground, his total was second only to 2-time MVP Ryan Zimmerman who had 583 yards of offense in a playoff loss earlier this decade.
The Tiger recievers found nothing but green grass ahead on most completed passes, as they had touchdown catches of 88, 68, and 39 yards. Long plays also included a 63 yard catch and run by first year player Alfonso Perea. A controversial call before halftime negated the score, but Kel Robbins also had a 75 yard catch as time ran out.
Things are looking up for the tigers who won their first Endowment game during this decade.
